Not sure who is marketing for who - got these video links emailed to me overnight by Christoph and see that the little Jimmer already had it posted on 4.9.
A video of the young Spiritview females that are of Pinebank breeding
https://youtu.be/q1oTNE0VHSc
And of the bulls coming up for sale plus some herd sires
https://youtu.be/Xq6-f9tPalg

As you all know I don't know much about Angus cattle but I must say I'm not too taken by these. The females look "too much beef" and "too little maternal" for me, there is a chunkiness about them that is coarse to my eye. They don't seem to exhibit much femininity about their heads. They are packing condition too, must be that good Peace country air and snowballs at work Suspect
On the bull front, lots of guts in evidence but again there looks to be a plainness or coarseness about them that isn't particularly masculine. I wonder too how nimble they would be at covering the rough ground some of you guys have being the shape they are? Maybe I'm way off base but these look more like meat machines (terminal) to me than maternal.

Bob I assume the heifers calf as 2 year olds, I believe the calves are born in May/June and were weaned recently i.e. late January? No clue what the calves would weigh but he told me he wished they had left the calves on longer as the cows are carrying too much flesh now. In my uninformed opinion with that information and the look of the cows I would expect the weaning weights would not be high but I may be out to lunch on that.

Just read on another forum that the calves weighed 700lbs at weaning Suspect If that's the case farao and crew are going to be mighty disappointed - not the kind of cattle they like at all.

yeah they ain`t no money in weaning 700 lb calves, the farao says so...I got a big kick out my first catalog skim last night...there are two feeding regimes...forage tested bulls,,,, and then bulls fed no grain...now tell me what`s the difference?
